Yes, it's the love meme! Isa and I have been talking about posting it and finally talk has become action! Here's the drill: every player has a comment below for folks to leave love. It doesn't have to be words, gifs are also good. We're going backwards to distribute the love evenly (people get worn out by the end of the alphabet, so lets start with them this time!).

We've also included links to the player's wiki page and their character's logs, so you can take a refresh peek at what they've been doing. We'll also link to the individual threads from the player pages, so you can go back later and bask when you need it.

No negativity - if you can't say something positive, don't say anything at all, as the saying goes. ;)

If for any reason you'd rather not be included ping Isa or I and we'll quietly remove your thread. Or, if giving feedback publicly is a bit much, you can email the person directly (email addies are available on the player pages).

No time limits - do your best and no love is too small!

(Thanks Walks for these!)

Five words or a gif you think of when you think of this player.

Five words or a gif you think of when you think of this player's character.

Five words or a gif your characters think of when you think of this player's character.

Three random things you'd love to see this person's characters do.

You and this player can travel anywhere in the world. Where would you take them?

What's the first log or character moment that pops into your mind when you think about this player?

One of the best things about you is that you're not afraid to tackle some wickedly difficult things and then deal with the consequences after, but you also write lovely softer pieces. (The pieces with Kevin & Jean post-Siege are so beautiful, and you've really owned the shitty situation Garrison is in post-Sons.)

You spend a lot of time offering to help the rest of us and coming up with plots and ideas that make our characters shine, and when you're running a plot I always have a good time writing it, even if the subject matter is difficult or outside my sphere of experience. Your willingness to help me out has led to a ton of growth for Darcy in the past year, and I'm so glad I've got you to bounce ideas off of and to talk with in general.

(You're going to hate reading all of this and I don't care. ♥♥♥)

Dex! You are amazing. I'm so grateful I got to be involved in so many epic plots with you back in the day, and I hope to be in more someday. Garrison is another XP character that I'll always associate with their XP player, and I love how much you've done with him over the years. Kevin is also fantastic and it's great to see you work with him. I hope I'll get to write with you again soon! :)

Garrison - of course it's this log. I loved writing it and love re-reading it:

“Well, here I am.” Kane said to himself, standing on the threshold of the rooms he shared with Adrienne. Or had shared with Adrienne. She was gone. And with her usual efficiency, she’d emptied their suite of her possessions and the cat. He couldn’t blame her. After all, it had been his decision.

He walked around for a bit, aimless. It had been months since he’d been here and yet, everything was neatly tucked away and organised. Even the Moosehead had been recently dusted. He sat down on the couch and plucked his acoustic guitar from the stand. Garrison wasn’t the first to admit he was a pretty mediocre musician, but that’s only because plenty of others would jump in before he could say anything to confirm it. But he could get away with the firepit singalong. He played a few chords and paused, his fingers freezing on the strings as tears came to him.

“Gar?” Amanda’s voice was soft and a little hesitant, not wanting to intrude on a very private grief. “Can I come in?”

“She kept it tuned.” He said quietly, pulling himself together. “Every reason to think I was dead, and she refused to believe it so fundamentally that she made sure my goddamn guitar stayed tuned.”

Amanda’s boots scuffed across the floor and the couch dipped a little as she sat next to him. “That’s Adri,” she replied. “Practical as fuck, but still optimistic, even if she can’t say so to anyone.”

“You know she told me that she’d support me doing anything but this, and go with me to anywhere but here.” Kane said, an impossible heaviness behind his words. “And I said no.”

“I think I know.” Her reply was quiet. “But Gar, what do you want? Don’t you think you’ve earned it?”

“What do I want? I want to think I’ve done enough, and that I can walk away with her to spend the next forty years on a tropical beach somewhere. Drinking fruity rum cocktails with a rainforest of garnishes on top before screwing her senseless every night. That’s what I want. But I made an oath to this place. And if I did that, the second something happened I could have stopped, or worse, someone got hurt that I might have been able to protect, it would ultimately destroy who I am. So I am fucking trapped it seems.”

Kevin - gotta love Kevin putting Jubilee to rights:

“So, you’re not happy,” she said in way of greeting. She had no particular interest in being a brat just now, despite her normal inclinations toward that sort of thing. “How’d I fuck up this time?”

"If this is a two-person job, you need to plan for it as a two-person job. You get an awful lot of latitude to use your judgment in the field, Lee, but we don't deploy as volunteers. We plan and strategize how we move our assets." Kevin took a long drink from the glass of sangria he'd mentioned and refilled it from the terracotta jug. "So, I'm now in Spain. I have no idea the op. No idea the factors beyond some kind of meeting that are in play. And I have no idea what kind of eventualities I need to prepare for. Do I need guns? Surveillance equipment? A football mascot costume? This is the kind of sloppy shit that gets people killed."

“Kev, first, It’s a one-person job, I just wanted another pair of eyes on what I’m doing,” Jubilee explained, settling back in her seat. “I didn’t think having an extra pair of eyes on what I was doing would be a bad thing, but like, ok, I fucked up on not planning that out to start with. Not having one of you wasn’t gonna be a deal-breaker.”

Kevin sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, a gesture harkening back to the days when agents like this caused headaches he could no longer have. "Lee, you have been trained to do this right. If all you needed was an extra set of eyes, you send back a profile of the op and what you need. This isn't a fucking pick-up basketball game." For once, Kevin was actually angry, something she hadn't seen in a while. He stopped and took a deep breath. "We don't follow these processes because I just like making up rules. We follow them because it helps lessen the odds of something going horribly wrong."
