We seem to be on approximately an every year rotation with this one so I figured it was time for a new one. The lovely Fritolicious was like-minded so she'll be getting the second half done in another post because, well, there's a lot of us. (Part two is over here)

This is how it works for those of you new within the past year or who have swiss cheese for memories. Below you will find a comment for each player, alphabetical by name, with links to their wiki player pages as well as links to the LJs of their characters with shiny little visuals. Reply to the comments with any and all positive feedback.

No negativity is welcome.

No seriously, between the fact that you've been patient so many times with me when I panic or freeze up in plots or logs, and the fact that you let me turn Bucky into an ex-CIA agent and give him an adopted daughter just so I could make the Winter Soldier a woman, plus the 95,00 things you do for the game in general. We wouldn't be half the amazing game we are without you, and I'm not sure we'd have survived past the second year.

I find the contrasting leadership styles of Garrison and Remy fascinating. People follow Garrison because he's a good man, and they believe in him. People follow Remy because it gets the job done. You do so amazingly much for the game, between your stints as mod, the amount of plotting and helping others plot, and it is obvious at all times how much you love this game.

I love Garrison's interaction with Daisy the moose. That might be one of my favorite things to come out of the entire moose fiasco. :) You do a fantastic job of playing both Garrison and Remy - I love reading their logs. And as a player, I'm just so entirely impressed with the scope of your ideas and the way you manage to execute them. It's wonderful to watch and I always feel really lucky, being able to participate.

You. I sometimes seriously feel not worthy when I see the stuff you've done. You've always been patient and kind, even when I've panicked or wanted to run away. You helped me bring Jubilee back into the game, and talked me through my worries about doing so. And I love the mentor relationship between her and Remy. She really does feel proudest when she makes him proud of her.

You genuinely care for others, and for the game. The times you've gone out of your way to bring people back in that have been drifting away, or to talk someone through a moment where they're having a panic about something.

You are one of my oldest friends, and someone I am so glad to know, even if we don't talk as much as we used to.

I fangirl Dex's brain. Unabashedly. I seriously declare this all the time because it's such a constant state of being for me. Dex is a phenomenal writer, and not just in terms of his characters but also in terms of plots. He is always willing to help people figure out the holes in their plots or how to make a character work within the game world. He's amazing at keeping the big picture of the game world in mind when it comes to further world building or game-wide discussions on developing or changing things within the game world. If I'm not sure something will work within the XPverse Dex is my go to guy. Hell, he helped me find a way to make Layla Miller's precog/causality work without her being stupidly overpowered or the amazing quick fix for everything (which, of course, is a recipe for not getting approved).

And he's never actually killed me. This is truly amazing as I am stubborn, get caught up in discussions and sometimes am really worthy of being thrown out a window. (really not exaggerating, just as him.) We can butt heads over stuff like mad, but at the end of the day Dex has a remarkable, and enviable, ability to not hold grudges. If I've pissed him off over something all it takes is an apology and we are good. I'm sure there are unforgivable offenses but I've never managed to commit one against him, thankfully.

I wholeheartedly believe this game would be lesser without Dex in it. He'd done a lot to develop aspects of the game world, bring mutant-related politics into our universe and help us all have a lot of fun. (And I am still amused that the first time Vanessa ever killed someone on screen it was actually his fault because I got run over by work and couldn't keep up with the plot log so I handed him Vanessa.)

I love reading both Garrison and Remy's logs, they're both so well written and great to read. And the work you've done on all the plotting and helping to run the game, wow, it's incredible. So grateful for all of that. :)

Looking forward to getting to log with you more, now that I have Sam who'll make it easier for our characters to interact, I think.

Oh Plotmaster, my Plotmaster!

So patient and helpful and generous and smart and funny and snarky and so many other good things! I don't know why you put up with me (must be that ginormous heart!) but thank you thank you for putting up with me.

Remy is scary as hell which is awesome, and Garrison, well, what can I say, Adri's in love with him, and you've got her actually admitting that out loud to people which I never thought was possible!

Dex knows how much I adore him. The amount of work he puts into the game, be it writing plots for people, running plots for everyone, doing his "new character" plots (not always an easy task) and helping out with applications, plots and character development ideas. He's put his heart and soul into XP - and to be honest, sometimes he hasn't exactly been thanked for that.
